This exquisite, Graves-like Sauvignon Blanc welcomes the first member of our family’s sixth generation – Georgia Eileen Dixon. Georgia is fermented and aged in all new French oak for 18 months before being bottled, and should drink well for at least three to four years. Offering unprecedented depth and complexity, amazing texture and a long finish, Georgia has been lauded by Robert Parker as “…California's most complex and multi-dimensional Sauvignon Blanc.”

WINEMAKER NOTES

The 2014 Georgia is gorgeous! Intense, precise, powerful and complex, it has that classic textural richness of the best Georgia vintages. Aromas of vanilla and stone fruits mingle with tropical flavors and bright citrus tones. Vibrant and taut, the wine lingers and dances across the palate.”  - Philippe Melka, Winemaker

ACCOLADES

94 - 96 pts | THE WINE ADVOCATE

"The 2014 Sauvignon Blanc Georgia takes all these elements and adds an uplifted aromatic display that is vaguely reminiscent of the great Haut-Brion Blanc from Bordeaux, which has some Semillon blended with the Sauvignon. This is a fabulous effort from Robin
Lail, and again, from the dry-farmed Totem Vineyard in Yountville. Wonderful citrus oil, crushed rock, white flowers, marmalade, melon and grapefruit notes are all present in this full-bodied beauty that soaks up the new oak beautifully and has tremendous precision and freshness. It should drink well for at least 10-15 years based on how the 2004 has evolved." 94 - 96 points —Robert Parker, Jr., The Wine Advocate
